Park Guell in Barcelona
The Park Guell is located far from the city centre on a hill overlooking the city of Barcelona.
From the centre of Barcelona you can get to the park either with the underground (Line 3) or with buses.
If you take the metro you will have to climb to the park. The underground station is at 1300 metre distance from the park.
Your best bet is to take one of the following bus lines: 24 – 31 – 32 – 74 – 92 or the tourist bus 112 all stop near the park, but the closest bus stations are for the 24 and 92 lines.
If the weather is fine and you feel adventurous you can also try walking to the park, although it will be a pretty long journey. For your convenience you can find a map at the button of this page and select the best routes for you.
Tickets and Opening Hours
Entrance to the park tickets can be purchased here for 7 euro per person.
The park is open every day from 8 AM during the high season and 8:30 during the low season (25th of October to 28th of March). The park closes at 6:15 PM during the low season, at 20:00 in the mid-season and at 21:30 during the high season (May 4 – September 6).
To avoid crowds, your best bet would be to get to the park earlier in the morning and/or we advise buy tickets online in advance.
